About the Role

The Social Media Content Creator is a volunteer role focused on supporting how The Symbiosis Foundation communicates its work across social media and digital channels.

As a growing social impact initiative, we want to share our stories, activities, and opportunities more consistently and visually. This role offers the opportunity to help create content that informs, inspires, and engages people who care about collaboration, learning, and social impact.

What You Will Focus On

Depending on current priorities, the Social Media Content Creator may work on:

  • Creating and drafting social media posts for LinkedIn and other channels
  • Finding, selecting, or creating suitable images and visuals
  • Supporting the planning and scheduling of social media content
  • Helping prepare content around our Accelerator, events, stories, and community updates
  • Contributing ideas for social media campaigns and digital storytelling
  • Supporting the creation of blog-style content, short videos, or visual materials when relevant

This is a creative and hands-on role. It is suitable for someone who enjoys turning ideas, updates, and stories into clear and engaging content.

  • Writes clearly and can adapt content for different audiences
  • Is interested in social impact, community-building, or nonprofit work
  • Is proactive, creative, and comfortable working in an evolving structure
  • Can commit approximately 2–6 hours per week

Experience with tools such as Canva, LinkedIn, Instagram, scheduling tools, or basic video editing is welcome but not required.

Time Commitment

This is an unpaid volunteer position requiring approximately 2–6 hours per week. The role offers flexibility while requiring reliability, creativity, and consistency.
