The Engagement Lead is a volunteer Board role responsible for shaping and strengthening how The Symbiosis Foundation builds and nurtures its ecosystem of volunteers, partners, and collaborators.

As a growing social impact initiative, our engagement strategy continues to evolve. This role offers the opportunity to guide that evolution — bringing clarity, structure, and consistency to how we attract, onboard, and coordinate contributors.

What You Will Focus On

Depending on current priorities, the Engagement Lead may work on:

• Refining and improving our volunteer onboarding process
• Coordinating communication with volunteers and contributors
• Supporting outreach toward organizations interested in collaboration
• Strengthening engagement through consistent touchpoints and updates
• Aligning engagement efforts with our Accelerator and broader initiatives

This is both a strategic and hands-on role. It requires someone who can think directionally while also helping translate ideas into practical steps.

• Can commit approximately 4–8 hours per week

Previous board experience is welcome but not required.
